Biomedical Technology Research Resource (P41)

This funding opportunity announcement (FOA) encourages grant applications for national Biomedical Technology Research Resources (BTRR).

These Resources conduct research and development of new or improved technologies driven by the needs of basic, translational, and clinical researchers.

The

Resources are charged to make their technologies available to the research community in a sustainable manner, to provide user training, and to disseminate the Resources technologies and experimental results.

Resources should be at the leading edge of their field with respect to both technology development and engagement of the relevant research community.

New applicants are strongly encouraged to submit a pre-application in response to PAR-17-315 The pre-application process provides feedback on whether the proposed technology development is appropriate for the NIGMS BTRR program, and the potential competitiveness of a full application.
