PROGRAM DESCRIPTION The U. S. Mission in Morocco’s Public Affairs Office is pleased to announce funding for Dar America’s monthly cultural programming calendar.

Proposals should plan a minimum of two programs per month from October 2021 through July 2022 (minimum 10 total) and employ music, art, theater, dance, literature, film, or a combination thereof to explore the importance of diversity and inclusion.

Successful proposals should contain a substantial American component and engage Moroccan youth (ages 15-30) around monthly themes that celebrate the contributions of diverse groups (e.g., Black History Month, Women’s History Month, etc.).

Funding will be made available through a cooperative agreement with the Public Affairs Section of the U. S. Consulate in Casablanca, which is located at Dar America.

Dar America staff will have substantial involvement in selecting and vetting artists or performers.

Proposed programs should be completed in 12 months or less.

The Department of State will entertain applications for continuation grants funded under these awards beyond the initial budget period on a non-competitive basis subject to availability of funds, satisfactory progress of the program, and a determination that continued funding would be in the best interest of the U. S. Department of State.

ELIGILIBITY INFORMATION 1. Eligible Applicants The Public Affairs Office encourages applications from all sectors:
committed and organized civil-society organizations, local representatives of civil society, think tanks, non-governmental organizations, cultural institutions, academic institutions, and individuals.

All grantees must have a non-profit status.

Preference is given to Moroccan NGOs or to partnerships that develop capacity with Moroccan NGOs 2. Cost Sharing or Matching There is no minimum or maximum percentage required for this competition.

However, Embassy Morocco encourage applicants to provide maximum levels of cost sharing and funding in support of programs 3. Other Eligibility Requirements All applicants must have the following registrations:
Dun and Bradstreet (D&B) Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number; NATO Commercial and Government Entity (NCAGE) code; and System for Award Management (SAM.gov) (If you have applied and have not yet received the registration number, provide proof of application).
