of this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is to evaluate the implementation and impact of new or existing strategies in states and local communities that (1) enhance prescription drug monitoring program use; (2) support providers and health systems in improving prescribing, pain management, and overdose response; (3) enhance public health systems that support linkage to care for opioid use disorder and overdose; (4) infuse public health approaches into public safety and law enforcement response; or (5) empower individuals to make safer choices about opioid use.
