Technical Assistance for Conservation Fiscal Year (FY) 2021 – NORTH CAROLINA

The purpose of this announcement is to advertise opportunities to entities who are interested in partnering with NRCS to provide technical assistance services to solve Soil, Water, Animal, and Plant resource concerns.

Entities will partner with NRCS to provide services related to development of

credit:


conservation plans, provide information for conservation program proposals and implementation of existing conservation contracts (ex.

EQIP, CStP, and AMA), including certifying and reporting progress on conservation measures.

NRCS will accept proposals of multi-year projects (2-5 years) submitted by eligible entities with substantial operations in North Carolina.

The purpose is to leverage NRCS and partner resources to:
1. Improve soil health.

2. Improve water quality.

3. Provide habitat for local wildlife species of concern.

4. Improve the environmental and economic performance of agricultural lands.

Proposals must be received by 11:59 pm, EST, May 25, 202 1. Applicants will be notified of their selection by July 2, 2021 and awards will be made by September 30, 202 1. For technical issues with Grants.gov, please contact Grants.gov Applicant Support at 1-800-518-4726 or support@grants.gov.
