Gov. Bullock, Feds Announce Funds for Railroad Revamp

Montana Governor Steve Bullock announces a $4 million grant that combines federal and state funds to fix the Central Montana RailC which was severely flood-damaged in 2011.


In this video, the governor expresses his enthusiasm in having the railroad repaired, stating it as the "heart" of Central Montana transportation. The $3 million funds are to rebuild the first portion including the start of two to three of the trestle. The funding is also being matched with another $1 million grant from the Economic Development Administration within the US Department of Commerce.
