Southaven Receives State Grant for Trail Development
In order to build trails connecting the Southaven’s two big parks, the city has been awarded a grant from the Mississippi Department of Transportation. The grant amounts to $850,000 and this will be used to provide bike and walking trails that will do more than offer the exercise options first intended as well as create unity by pulling the neighborhoods together as well as its people.Read the Entire Article

3 Social Enterprises Earn Honors at Social Enterprise Award
Three social enterprises were recognized at the 2013 President’s Challenge Social Enterprise Award for their major contributions to society. SATA CommHealth and Bliss Restaurant landed Social Enterprise of the Year titles, while Bettr Barista Coffee Academy bagged the award for Social Enterprise Start-up of the Year.
