State Grant to Continue Philadelphia Energy Solutions
Agency - Department of Community and Economic DevelopmentPhiladelphia Energy Solutions, formed jointly by Sunoco and The Carlyle Group, has received a state grant from the Department of Community and Economic Development. The grant’s main objective is to fuel Pennsylvania’s economic engine, saving jobs and securing the future of an industry.
With the use of the grant, around 330,000 barrels of oil a day will be processed, an estimated 850 jobs will be saved and at least 100 more jobs will be offered.
