CDFI Awards for Santa Fe Community Housing Trust
FA (2003) - $500,000
The Fund"s $500,000 award will enable SFCHT is offer a new first mortgage product. Over a three-year period, this award could result in over 40 first mortgage loans made to low-income homebuyers in Hot Zones within the Santa Fe area who otherwise would not qualify for conventional mortgages. Further impacts will be seen as these mortgages are repaid or sold and the proceeds invested in other first mortgages in Hot Zone areas. Approximately 50% of this award will be targeted to Hot Zones.
