Tuberculosis Elimination and Laboratory Cooperative Agreement (CoAg)

The purpose of the Tuberculosis (TB) Elimination Cooperative Agreement (CoAg) funds is to assist the current efforts of state, local, and territorial TB programs to prevent, control, and eventually eliminate TB in the United States.

Financial assistance is provided to TB programs to augment current

credit:


local contributions for TB prevention and control activities; developing human resources through improved training, education, communications, and information dissemination; and strengthening laboratory capacity to ensure that timely and reliable TB laboratory services be available to healthcare providers and TB controllers.
