FY 2015 Native American CDFI Assistance Program

Through the Native American CDFI Assistance Program, the CDFI Fund provides Financial Assistance and Technical Assistance grants to Native CDFIs; and Technical Assistance grants to entities that will become or will create a Native CDFI.

Due to the fact that the CDFI Fund’s FY 2015 appropriation includes a waiver of the matching funds requirement for entities applying for FA awards through the NACA Program, the Healthy Food Financing Initiative, and the SECA component of the CDFI Program, the CDFI Fund is providing an additional 45-day application submission window for any eligible organization that did not submit a SECA component or NACA Program FA application by the original application deadline of November 24, 2014 and SECA and NACA FA applicants that submitted applications by the original application deadline of November 24, 2014 have the option to update their award request information based on the waiver of the matching funds requirement.

Additional Information of Eligibility:
An organization wishing to apply for Financial Assistance only or a combination of Financial Assistance and Technical Assistance through the Native American CDFI Assistance Program must be either a certified Native CDFI or be able to be certified by the Fund at the time of application.

Organizations that are Emerging Native CDFIs or Sponsoring Entities may only apply for Technical Assistance and operating grants through the NACA Program.
