FY 2011 PRISM Grant

Section 4109 of SAFETEA-LU provides funding for States to implement the Performance and Registration Information System Management (PRISM) requirements that link Federal motor carrier safety information systems with State commercial motor vehicle registration and licensing systems.

This enables

credit:


a State to determine the safety fitness of a motor carrier or registrant when licensing or registration is in effect.PRISM grant applications must be submitted electronically through Grants.gov on or before February 1, 201 1.
