Family Violence Prevention and Services Discretionary Grants: National and Special Issue Resource Centers - National Resource Center on Domestic Violence (NRCDV)

The Administration for Children and Families (ACF), Administration on Children, Youth and Families (ACYF), Family and Youth Services Bureau (FYSB) announces the solicitation of applications for one cooperative agreement under the Family Violence Prevention and Services Discretionary Grants program to

support a National Resource Center on Domestic Violence (NRCDV).

The NRCDV will maintain a clearinghouse library in order to collect, prepare, analyze, and disseminate information and statistics related to the incidence, intervention, and prevention of family violence, domestic violence and dating violence; and the provision of shelter, supportive services, and prevention services to adult and youth victims of family violence, domestic violence, and dating violence which includes services to prevent repeated incidents of violence.

The NRC is part of a network of National and Special Issue Resource Centers providing leadership and support to the existing programs serving victims of domestic violence and their children.The original funding opportunity (FOA) announcing the availability of awards for National and Special Issue Resource Centers (HHS-2011-ACF-ACYF-EV-0188) has been cancelled.

The original FOA is replaced by four FOAs that solicit applications for the four types of centers separately.

Additional Information of Eligibility:
To be eligible to receive a grant to establish or maintain a National Resource Center on Domestic Violence under Section 310 of the Family Violence Prevention and Services Act (FVPSA) as amended by Section 201 of the CAPTA Reauthorization Act of 2010, Pub.

L.

111-320, an entity shall be a private non-profit organization that focuses primarily on domestic violence and that can demonstrate the ability to meet the specific FVPSA eligibility requirements for the NRCDV.

Faith-based and community organizations that meet eligibility requirements are eligible to receive awards under this funding opportunity announcement.

Individuals, foreign entities, and sole proprietorship organizations are not eligible to compete for, or receive, awards made under this announcement.
