THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS-Exhibit Redesign at Mississippi River Visitor Center-THIS IS NOT A REUQEST FOR APPLICATIONS

The project will be design and fabrication of new exhibits for the Mississippi River Visitor Center(MRVC).

MRVC is located in rented space inside the Science Museum of Minnesota (SMM) as it has been since 200 3. The SMM exhibit design and fabrication services are in the same building as

MRVC.

Besides receiving high quality design and fabrication this creates obvious efficiencies for planning and design.

Since MRVC is part of the SMM lobby experience the SMM has a vested interest in the quality and outcome of the exhibit.

The SMM also has expertise in the Mississippi River as the building is located next to the river and their own exhibits help interpret the river.

In the world of social enterprises, failure is a cringe-worthy moment nobody wants to talk about. But, social entrepreneurs can benefit from their failures.
