The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland District (NWP) intends to enter into a cooperative agreement with a state agency responsible for the administration or implementation of undesirable plants laws of the state, who will provide professional services to assist USACE with the management

of undesirable plants on federal lands on federal lands managed by the Natural Resource Management section at John Day Project in Benton County, Washington.

The cooperative agreement will be awarded pursuant to 7 U.S.C.

§ 2814 Federal Noxious Weed Act of 197 4. The recipient for this cooperative agreement must be a state department of agriculture, or other state agency or political subdivision thereof, responsible for the administration or implementation of undesirable plants laws of a state.
