Brown County Receives State Grant to Combat Heroin Use

Wisconsin Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen announces a $25,000 grant to be awarded to Brown County to hire a facilitator to address the increasing heroin cases and deaths across the state.


The funding is part of an effort to suppress the growing epidemic of the drug by bringing together police, business and community members to combat heroin, called The Brown County Heroin Reduction Initiative.
