Stevens Point School District Score Grant Funding for New Charter School

Stevens Point school district officials acquired a $225,000 grant from the Department of Public Instruction to design their new Expeditionary Learning charter school.


The grant money will help the district formulate a charter and assemble the board to manage the school. Ben Franklin junior high principal Connie Negaard says they're hoping to have it up and running in the fall of 2014.
