Fish & Wildlife Service Announces $101,566 Grant

Agency - US Fish & Wildlife Service

The US Fish & Wildlife Service recently announced a $101,566 grant to the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection to fund its New England cottontail rabbit initiative.


The grant will fund the third phase of a project that started in 2008 in the six states of the cottontail's range for the conservation and protection of the species.
