School and Housing Authority Receive $120,000 Grant for New Franklin Students

The New Hampshire Department of Education has awarded Portsmouth Housing Authority a $120,000-a-year grant to provide New Franklin School students educational programs.


The grant comes from the 21st Century Community Learning Centers program that caters to offering kids expanded academic enrichment opportunities in high-poverty schools. The grant will continue on for the next three years.
