Franklinton Sidewalks Gets Upgrades Thanks to State Grant

Franklinton Junior High School will get to access new sidewalks, thanks to a Safe Routes to School grant.


The sidewalks will be repaved and replaced which will trail down each side of the school and connect into the sidewalk on 11th Avenue. The costs of the sidewalk construction will be funded through a federal grant administered by the state. The estimated cost is $190,000.
