Potsdam to Apply for $440,000 State Grant to Clear Underground Canal
Potsdam Village will be applying for a $440,000 state grant to clear obstructions from the underground canal that runs beneath Broad Street.
The estimated cost of the project is $600,000, which will cover the clearing costs of canal disruptions and make for the purchase of hydrodynamic separators, which would be placed beneath manholes to separate water from canal-blocking gunk and waste.
