Yonkers School District Get Boost from Grants to Extend School Year

Four Yonkers schools share a $4.5 million in state aid to change schools principals and replace at least half the staff.


This is a portion of a plan to mend under-performing programs that resulted on low test scores and graduation rates. The grant will also be used to extend the school year with an additional 200 hours.
