Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Receives Grant

The Texas Department of State Health Services Nutrition, Physical Activity, and Obesity Obesity Prevention Program awarded the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Garrison Institute on Aging with a $53,000 for their obesity prevention outreach program.


The grant will allow the group to establish an environmental policy change at South Plains Girls Fastpitch fields that emphasizes the improtance of the nutritional values.
