Laguna Housing Development and Management Entity is a Sponsoring Entity for Native Community Finance. Native Community Finance is an emerging Native CDFI founded in 2007. Laguna Housing Development and Management Entity is a nonprofit serving the Laguna Pueblo Indians of New Mexico. Native Community Finance provides homebuyer loans, home repair loans, consumer loans, and consolidation loans. Native Community Finance will use the FY 2009 Technical Assistance award for: 1) staff salary and benefits; 2) professional services; and 3) office materials.

Laguna Housing Development and Management Enterprise is the sponsoring entity of this Native CDFI. Laguna provides home rehabilitation, loan consolidation, and credit repair loans to residents of the Pueblo of Laguna in New Mexico. Laguna will use the 2008 NACA TA grant to: 1) obtain professional services to conduct market and impact analysis; 2) pay for staff training and development; and 3) purchase computer equipment and loan service software. Laguna was awarded $139,001.
