OJJDP FY 20 Alaska Native Youth Training and Technical Assistance Project

The OJJDP Alaska Native Youth Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) project will fund a training and technical assistance provider to support the unique juvenile justice needs of Alaska Native tribes.

The TTA provider will enhance the capacity of tribes across Alaska to address the specific
needs and issues impacting Alaska Native youth.

This project will serve as the primary training and technical assistance provider for all OJJDP funded tribal programs for youth in Alaska.

In addition, the project will provide community-based training and technical assistance to tribes in order to develop and sustain programs focused on reducing delinquency and supporting positive outcomes for youth.
