OJJDP FY 20 Alaska Native Youth Training and Technical Assistance Project

The OJJDP Alaska Native Youth Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) project will fund a training and technical assistance provider to support the unique juvenile justice needs of Alaska Native tribes.

The TTA provider will enhance the capacity of tribes across Alaska to address the specific
needs and issues impacting Alaska Native youth.

This project will serve as the primary training and technical assistance provider for all OJJDP funded tribal programs for youth in Alaska.

In addition, the project will provide community-based training and technical assistance to tribes in order to develop and sustain programs focused on reducing delinquency and supporting positive outcomes for youth.

Additional Information of Eligibility:
The following entities are eligible to apply: nonprofit organizations and for-profit organizations (including tribal nonprofit and for-profit organizations), and institutions of higher education (including tribal institutions of higher education).

All recipients and subrecipients (including any for-profit organization) must forgo any profit or management fee.

Eligible applicants that propose to provide direct services to youth must not include youth who are age 18 or older in the population they will serve.
