Cultural Arts Funding Is Back in Kansas

The state of Kansas returns its cultural arts funding, although modest in amounts. The Department of Commerce is expected to give away $58,400 in grants.


Larger grants are still on for discussion by the creative arts industries commission. The recent funding is targeted towards more on economic development, which needs organizations to show that small grants are capable of boosting tourism to strengthen the economy.
