Facility Upgrade is Next After State Grant has been Granted

The Berry Plastic Corp. has received a state grant amounting to $190,000 from the Empire State Development. The grant will be used to help pay for building renovations and utility upgrades at its Macedon, Wayne County plant. As a result of the Berry Plastic Corp.’s project, 50 local careers were created and 461 jobs were retained.
