Franklinton Receives State Grant for New Fire Hydrants
Agency - Division of AdministrationThe Division of Administration granted Franklinton a $23,060 in funds for the purchase of 16 fire hydrants.
The upgrade and acquisition of its fire hydrants is to improve fire protection and fire prevention. A cutoff valve will also be installed on the hydrants. This will help in alerting community residents and businesses if a fire breaks loose.
