Milwaukee Railroad Shops Historic District Receives Over $314,000 State Grant

Sioux City's Milwaukee Railroad Shops Historic District has been awarded a $314,862 state grant put up a miniature railroad, rails, restroom and parking space at its Sioux River Road site.


The grant comes from the Vision Iowa Community Attraction and Tourism Program. The city holds the reins on the grant money for the Siouxland Historic Railroad Association, which manages the site.
