Monroe County Gets Economic Growth Initiative Grant for Natural Gas Line Extension
Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett has provided $5 million Economic Growth Initiative grant to subsidize a natural gas line extension along a major state highway in Monroe County.
Located along the route are businesses which can easily access low-cost natural gas with the help of the extension. The extension project will strengthen economic development and spur job creation.
