Morton Memorial Library Reaps Over $4,000 State Grant

The 105-year-old Morton Memorial Library gets a $4,194 grant awarded by the state Education Department’s Division of Library Development for energy efficient purposes.


The grant will allow for the revitalization of the library and making the building more energy efficient. The library's heating system is also targeted for replacement. According to Library board President Steve Sansola, the library aims to cut its expenses by half.
