Onondaga County Soil and Water Conservation District Receives State Grant

Agency - Environmental Protection Fund

The Onondaga County Soil and Water Conservation District received a $574,476 state grant from the Environmental Protection Fund's New York State Agricultural Nonpoint Source Abatement and Control Program.


The grant will be used to help farms in Onondaga County protectarea lakes, streams and rivers from agricultural runoff.


The recipients are chosen via a competitive process that will award the funding to county soil and water districts statewide.
