River Heritage Park Receives $300,000 State Grant

River Heritage Park receives a $300,000 state grant for its second phase of improvement on the park's grounds.


The seven-acre riverfront green space in Davenport gets the additional grant funding to pay for a 400 feet of railing and grading and construction of a promenade near the river. Local historian Karen Anderson calls the river the "cradle of the Western frontier."
