SCAT Seeks State Grant to Launch Orlando Bus Service

The Space Coast Area Transit (SCAT) seeks out a state grant to kick start a bus service to Orlando in 2015.


The operating cost of the route is expected to amount to $212,570 a year and the estimated one-way fare is $3. James Liesenfelt, director of Transit Services, proposes a route that would operate four round-trips a day during weekdays between points in Titusville and downtown Orlando.
