Scranton Library Reaps State Grant for Architectural Improvements

The Scranton library, Albright Memorial, will receive its share of the $4 million disseminated to libraries across the state.


The shares will be used to acquire modern amenities such as elevators, replace caving old mortars, and have a library side facelift. Upgrades to the library are estimated to cost about $1.3 million dollars.
