UF Ped-I-Care Gains $18 Million Grant to Offer Help to Children with Special Needs

UF’s Pediatric Integrated Care System (Ped-I-Care) has recently been awarded a three-year, $18 million grant from the Florida Department of Health to offer care to families of children with disabilities.

The grant money will cover the costs of medical services, dental health services and transportation. It will also render health insurance to children with critical health care needs in 51 of Florida’s 67 counties.
