The Prairie Band Tribe of the Potawatomi Nation resides in northeast quadrant of the State of Kansas and is comprised of 5,300 enrolled members. The Tribal Council of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation has engaged in ahost of community-building activities, including vocational education, alcohol and drug counseling, Head Start and child care, land preservation, and affordable housing development.

The Awardee has received a technical assistance grant to obtain consulting services for the development of a market analysis and a feasibility study to investigate the possibility of establishing a community development bank, and for training in Native American focused community development lending.
