Created in 1996, Nashville Housing Fund, Inc (NHF) provides the financial resources necessary to help low-and moderate-income families and individuals become homeowners and to assist non-profit and for-profit developers in increasing the supply of affordable housing in Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee.

FA (2008) - $1,098,178

The Housing Fund, Inc is a certified CDFI established in 1996 as the Nashville Housing Fund The Housing Fund provides loans and technical assistance to homebuyers and affordable housing developers in a 12-county target market in Tennessee and Kentucky The Housing Fund will use the FY08 Financial Assistance award of $1,000,000 as financing capital and loan loss reserves for its affordable housing loan funds The Housing Fund will use the FY08 Technical Assistance grant of $98,178 to fund costs related to a new training program for affordable housing developers The costs will cover a portion of personnel, travel, materials, and an evaluation of the training initiative.



FA (2004) - $450,000

Nashville Housing Fund, Inc (NHF) will use the award to provide new permanent financing product for affordable multi-family rental properties in Hot Zones. With the Technical Assistance Award, the Applicant will enhance its technology and will engage a consultant to create a software program that will coordinate existing software programs, enhance the underwiritng process and increase organizational efficiency.



CORE (2002) - $1,200,000

An investment from the CDFI Fund will help NHF provide more loans of Award Financial Grant of $1,200,000.00, to aid even lower-income families obtain quality housing.



CORE (2000) - $2,000,000

The CDFI Fund"s $2,000,000 capital grant will support the growth of the organization"s lending and development services activities.
