Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA), Emerging Infections Programs (EIP), Enhancing Epidemiology and Laboratory Capacity

The purpose of the EIP-ACA cooperative agreement is to support state and local health departmentsÂ’ surveillance infrastructure through enhancement of the epidemiology and laboratory capacity of the existing EIP network.

This Announcement provides second Budget Period continuation funding for EIP-ACA awards initiated in 2010 under FOA# CI10-003.

Therefore, eligibility is limited to current grantees (or their Bona Fide Agents) funded under FOA# CI10-003, which are the health departments of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Maryland, Minnesota, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, and Tennessee.
