Easthampton Secures $10,000 State Grant for Union Street Improvements

Easthampton receives a $10,000 state grant from the Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development from its Massachusetts Downtown Initiative program.


The grant will enable the city officials to explore ways in making Union Street more pedestrian- and bike-friendly. It will also be used to hire consultant services in the hopes of getting an analysis of what the issues are surrounding Union Street.
