RESA Reaps State Grant for Early Childhood Education Improvement

Agency - Michigan State Aid Early Childhood Block Grant Program

Along with 2012 carryover funds valued at $50,985, a $204,340 Michigan State Aid Early Childhood Block Grant for the year 2012-2013 will provide financial assistance and resources to RESA’s Great Start Collaborative, Great Parents, Great Start and the Great Start Parent Coalition.


The grant will be used in efforts to enhance early childhood education in the state. It also pays for the program’s website maintenance, business development, civic programs and conventions.
