The U.S Small Business Administration supports both the Small Business Development Center Program and SCORE to provide management assistance to current and prospective small business owners. These programs offer one-stop assistance to individuals and small businesses by providing a wide variety of information and guidance in central and easily accessible branch locations.

While the federal government does not provide grants for starting or growing small businesses, it does provide a myriad of services to assist entrepreneurs in pursuit of their dreams. One of the mechanisms in place to promote small business growth and economic development are Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs).

Clinical Trials for Organ Transplantation in Children Program
The National Insitutes of Health has formed a partnership with the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) to establish the Clinical Trials for Organ Transplantation in Children Program wherein both agencies intend to support a group of investigators in their quest of conducting clinical trials regarding pediatric solid organ transplant recipients.
Family Planning Services Grants
OPHS has recently established a funding opportunity entitled Family Planning Services Grants, a program wherein the OPHS, along with the HHS, will award grants to eligible individuals who seek to operate voluntary family planning services projects that would provide family planning services to everyone who desires to avail of such services, including low-income families in under-served areas.
