The U.S Small Business Administration supports both the Small Business Development Center Program and SCORE to provide management assistance to current and prospective small business owners. These programs offer one-stop assistance to individuals and small businesses by providing a wide variety of information and guidance in central and easily accessible branch locations.

The State of New York cares so much about its people. It looks out for them and constantly ascertains that their best interest is always protected. One of the ways in which the state has manifested this concern is through the establishment of the State of New York Mortgage Agency, more commonly referred to as SONYMA, which is a public authority established in 1970 designed to provide reasonable and affordable home-ownership opportunities to low and moderate income New Yorkers, especially to first time home buyers.

The Office of Justice Programs has recently announced the establishment of the Replication Research on Sexual Violence Case Attrition Program in an attempt to fund one research grant that could replicate the National Institute of Justice's Police Decision-Making in Sexual Assault Cases: An Analysis of Crimes Reported to the Los Angeles Police Department.
