Incorporated in 2000, ACEnet Ventures" mission is to assist in the development of distressed Central Appalachian communities through investment in small businesses, so that they can expand and create quality jobs for low-income residents.

CDFI Awards for ACEnet Ventures


FA (2004) - $295,000

ACEnet Ventures will use the award to provide development services to borrowers and potential borrowers; support lending; and hold loan loss reserves in suport of these and other lending activities. Approximately 80% of ACEnet Ventures" activities will be directed to Economic Development Hot Zones.



SECA (2002) - $200,000

The financial assistance award will be used for loan capital, and the technical assistance grant will be used to purchase technology, train staff, and obtain consulting services and for staff salary.



SECA (2000) - $53,000

The award will be used for staff training, acquisition of technology and obtaining consulting services.
