Bank of Cherokee County (BOCC) is a certified CDFI established in 1907. The organization provides financial products and services to residents of Cherokee County, with a focus on low-income Native Americans. BOCC will use its FY09 Financial Assistance award as lending capital and for loan loss reserves. It will use its FY09 Technical Assistance grant to support staff salaries, attend trainings, and procure equipment.



NATA (2004) - $75,000

The Bank of Cherokee County will use the award to purchase check imaging software. This purchase will help the them kept abreast of the changing needs of its market and remain competitive and in compliance with Federal Reserve policy changes.



BEA (2002) - $330,000
