Department of Health and Human Services Supports L.A. Health Preparedness

The U.S Department of Health and Human Services has awarded $30 million government grant to Los Angeles’ health preparedness. California as well as all other 49 states as well as four U.S. territories all received a piece of a $971 million grant.


The grant will be used for the country’s response to a wide array of emergency health threats as well as provide day-to-day health care in emergency situation practice exercises, planning and operations.
