Elmira to Authorize Fire Chief to Apply $75,000 Grant

Elmira City Council will be authorizing Fire Chief Patrick Bermingham to apply for a $75,000 state grant to acquire a new rescue response vehicle through a scheduled voting.


The grant does not require matching funds from the city, and it is the third time the city is applying basically for the same grant.
