Sen. Gipson Presents $100000 Grant for New Playground at Kent Elementary School

Agency - Economic Development Assistance Program

Senator Terry Gipson (D, Rhinebeck) presented a $100,000 grant to Kent Elementary School for new playground from the nonprofit The Imagination Station.


The funds were from the State Economic Development Assistance Program. According to Gipson, the playground will serve as a way for the children in the community to "get out of the classroom and get out of the home and be more of a community and be more well-rounded and ready to be leaders of tomorrow."
