NOAH Community Development Fund, Inc., has been serving Northern Boston, Massachusetts residents with development services and capital to purchase and rehabilitate homes in economically distressed neighborhoods for over four years. The Investment Areas in Northern Boston are experiencing a decreasing affordability in rental housing and affordable home ownership and housing prices in the area having increased 140% from 1997 to 2003.

TA (2004) - $50,000

NOAH Community Development Fund, Inc., will use award to fund a market analysis with plans to expand their current service area, thereby increasing homeownership for residents who had not had access to capital for home ownership in the past. Funds will also provide the Awardee with technology as well as a capitalization, operational and development plan to increase and strengthen the portfolio, providing greater fiscal stewardship.



SECA (2001) - $171,000

Financial assistance will help build its capital base and allow for additional loans to low-income first time homebuyers.
