State Grant to Support Litchfield County-Area School Programs

The grant will support Litchfield County-area schools that contract with Litchfield-based Education Connection for before and after school programming. The grants are part of the $8.49 million investment awarded to support 26 after-school programs in 18 districts.

Programs that provide supervision and safety for young people in the hours after school, as well as provide youth access to computers and technology, provide opportunities to learn and master new skills, prepare children for a productive future, create excitement about learning, and provide tutoring.
