Toledo Garners $5 Million State Grant for Wastewater Treatment Plant
Agency - Department of Ecology Clean WaterA new wastewater treatment plant in Toledo receives about $5 million in grants from the state Department of Ecology Clean Water program.
The grants will allow for the construction of the facility without further debt acquisitions. The city had already obtained a low-interest loan through the state’s Public Works Trust Fund. Toledo is one of the top five beneficiaries for Clean Water project funds this year.
